Russell LDP's Development Director shapes regional industry discussion

Iain Griffin, Russell LDP's Development Director, was a key speaker at Place North West's Industrial and Logistics Conference, alongside other industry professionals.

Key industry and logistics professionals, including Iain Griffin, Russell LDP's Development Director, were among the guests to recently contribute to a morning of regional discussions and debate.
Iain was one of several regional figureheads who took part in Place North West's sell-out Industrial and Logistics Conference at Bridgewater Hall on May 1st.
Dozens of delegates attended the event, which focused on a whole host of topical issues, including meeting the needs of todays data centre's and exploring the current state of the market.
Meanwhile, Iain joined fellow guest speakers, Mark Robinson from Rochdale Borough Council, Dan Needham from Harworth Group plc and Anna Relph from Turley in the final panel discussion, which focused on Atom Valley's role in addressing Greater Manchester's North/South economic divide.

Russell LDP is part of a 50/50 partnership with Harworth Group plc, forming the Northern Gateway Development Vehicle (NGDV) to bring forward the Northern Gateway development.
Northern Gateway is allocated in the Places for Everyone Plan, adopted in March 2024 by nine regions within Greater Manchester to develop and create new jobs, new homes and sustainable growth by 2039. The land has been released from the Green Belt for the proposed development, and the necessary measures have been put in place to improve environmental quality and accessibility to retained green belt.
