£9.6m development of 150,000 sq ft of logistics space in Bradford.
The project was a £9.6m development of 150,000 sq ft of new industrial space across a 15-acre site in Baildon, Bradford.
The scheme was a Joint Venture partnership between Russell L|DP and Pendle Developments. Russell LDP's in-house team secured planning permission for industrial use at this greenfield site; and formulated flood risk mitigation solutions to safeguard development, following extensive river flooding across the area in 2015.
Our construction partner, Russell WBHO, were the appointed contractor. They completed the estate infrastructure including cut and fill and lime stabilisation of the whole site along with construction of a new estate road, drainage and incoming utilities to service the whole of the site. The first phase of works comprised the construction of 57,000 sq ft of attractively clad business units including fully fitted office complete with air conditioning over two floors along with adjacent manufacturing/production spaces.
The units achieved BREEAM Very Good.
